Quantity Surveyor – ConstructionFulltime/PermanentFrankfurt, GermanySalary DOEResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal and external project teams; attend customer and subcontractor construction meetings.Manage all commercial aspects, including subcontractor commissioning and oversight.Handle budgeting, cost and procurement planning, financial reporting, CVRs, cash-flow forecasts, and monthly project analysis.Prepare progress reports, instalment payments, and final invoices.Define subcontractor service packages, assess completed work, check invoices, process payments, and manage change orders.Prepare price comparisons, evaluate offers, and make award recommendations.Review change requests and draft change order proposals.Work closely with purchasing to specify materials, share construction data, and monitor budgets.Review and prepare contracts (client, subcontractor, architect/planner) and select suitable contract models (lump sum, unit price, open book, cost-plus-fee, etc.).Ensure compliance with VOB, BGB, FIDIC, HOAI, and other regulations.Conduct cost analyses, risk and value management, identify commercial risks, ensure site H&S compliance, and prepare project documentation.ProfileQualification in Quantity Surveying or similar cost-management field.Experience in commercial management on large international projects (advantage).3–5 years of construction site experience.Strong contract law knowledge (VOB, BGB, FIDIC, Bespoke).Independent, structured, proactive, and able to work under pressure.Strong team skills; willingness to work on-site and travel.English and German (C1).Valid German work permit or EU citizenship.
