Display System Architect

Join our global client to lead the design, development, and optimisation of cutting-edge graphics and user interface solutions.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative technology, ensuring seamless integration between hardware, software, and user experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- User Interface & Visualisation: Lead the creation and implementation of advanced UI and video content solutions for visual displays, with a focus on the automotive sector.
- Architecture Development: Define and maintain software and hardware architecture documentation, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless and organised operations.
- Integration Management: Establish clear acceptance criteria for system integration, troubleshoot technical issues, and conduct thorough reviews to uphold quality.
- Graphics Systems Oversight: Manage distributed graphics architecture, including safety protocols, GPU performance analysis, and integration into Linux and Android platforms.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with cross-functional teams to align specifications, representing your domain in wider discussions, and assist project managers with planning and workload estimation.
YOUR PROFILE
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Experience: 5+ years in embedded system architecture and graphics infrastructure (OpenGL, Vulkan, Wayland), as well as proven experience in Linux/Android systems
- Knowledge: Strong expertise in GPU performance, 3D engines, video codecs, and image processing (ARM and x86-based SoC environments). Additional proficiency in UML modelling is desired.
- Industry: Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., AVB and camera interfaces).
- Language: Excellent communication skills in English (German is highly beneficial).
