Sales Specialist, Single-Cell RNA Sequencing

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic team at Laboremus GmbH, a startup in the biotechnology sector, specializing in single-cell sequencing services. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Specialist to help expand our market reach and deliver cutting-edge solutions to researchers and institutions around Europe.

Position: Sales Specialist, Single-Cell RNA Sequencing

Location: Hannover, Germany

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Description: As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting our state-of-the-art single-cell sequencing products and services. You will work closely with our scientific team to understand the nuances of our offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and engaging potential customers within the academic, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and advantages of our single-cell sequencing technologies.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet sales targets.
  • Providing feedback from the market to guide our ongoing product development.
  • Participating in conferences to promote our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field. A PhD's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills in English are required.
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in genomics, biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology and genomics, specifically single-cell sequencing technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend conferences.
  • German language skills highly preferred.
