SAP FICO Consultant – Contract to Hire


Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Contract Type: Initial 6-month contract with strong potential to transition into a permanent role.


About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a key client in Düsseldorf. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to strategic SAP projects, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance and company needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP FICO modules, focusing on financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) processes.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of SAP financial systems.
  • Lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of SAP FICO to meet business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Provide expertise on financial reporting, profit center accounting, and cost element accounting, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of S/4HANA projects and other system upgrades.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in SAP FICO with hands-on expertise in configuration and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including reporting, consolidation, and controlling.
  • Experience with S/4HANA or other SAP upgrade projects is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
