The Director of Product Management forthe Third-Party Manager solution is responsible for driving anddelivering outstanding products that create incredible value forour customers and users. They are responsible for all aspects ofproduct, from strategy to delivery and ongoing customer retentionand user satisfaction for the Diligent Entities solution. Thisperson employs a unique blend of business & technical savvy,strong passion for the customer and users, and the drive to createa vision and turn that into an outstandingproduct.

They must be a leader with a strongcommitment to invest in the development of the individuals on theirteam. Works closely with Engineering, UX, and Development teams todevelop and drive delivery of the productstrategy.

The Director of Product Management alsosupports the development of product marketing strategies as aninternal and external evangelist for the product, while alsopartnering with the direct sales & customer successteams.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Define,lead, and communicate product strategy in support of the businessobjectives.
  • Build understanding, consensus, andexecution alignment with key stakeholders. Develop a strongunderstanding of stakeholders to drivedecisions.
  • Develop and maintain a strongknowledge of the business domain, applying problem-solving skillsto address critical and complex issues to ensure the productevolves to make our users successful at theirjobs.
  • Ensure ongoing product growth andexpansion by gaining and exploiting marketing feedback fromcustomers, prospects, and users.
  • Be the voiceof the customer in our product team by clearly communicating andsharing insights about our customers and how we can get their jobsdone better.
  • Engage with customers fordiscovery and validation of new solutioncapabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionallywith UX, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and CustomerSuccess teams to build and launch products tomarket.
  • Track product performance, userengagement, andoutcomes.

RequiredExperience/Skills

  • Experiencein the third-party risk/risk management domain(desirable)
  • Proven experience in productmanagement, preferably with SaaS experience with a high number ofusers.
  • Must be able to demonstrate examples ofinnovation that created outstanding value forusers.
  • Proven track record for developing,managing, and launching large-scale cloud-based softwareproducts.
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate,and sell ideas internally and externally.
  • Musthave excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strongbusiness acumen.
  • You have a data-orientedmindset, and you are passionate about user and performancemetrics.
  • You have demonstrated a strong abilityto define and measure success.
  • You must havestrong leadership and people management skills, with experience inleading and developing high-performing product managementteams.
