In this role, marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing, aligning and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire European marketing organization in order to attract consumers and retain existing ones. He/She generally work in corporate environments as part of a larger marketing, creative, communications or digital team. As part of an organization, He/She play a critical role in aligning creative direction in alignment with brand and PR, Social Media goal.



Responsibilities

  • Develop LG’s marketing strategy & Operate brand campaign including:

- Overall Brand/Marketing Strategy/Direction

- ATL/BTL/Digital/In-Store/Other channels

- ATL/Digital creative & media strategy

with understanding of data analytic insights

  • Works directy with senior management of the organization to develop marketing programs, design marketing strategies, and implement marketing campaigns
  • Provides leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic marketing plan for EU subsidiary and the stakeholder organization
  • Works seamlessly with Business units and sales department to enhance overall consumer journey/experience to maximize business result
  • Establishes and implements short and long range marketing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the organization; evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement
  • Develops and manages annual marketing budgets for the organization, regularly monitors expenditures; prepares summary assessments and reports
  • Identify business opportunities based on Marketing/Analytics Manager’s analysis and mobilize key internal/external stakeholders for new initiatives to achieve better business results
  • Enhance internal capabilities of digital/data-based decision making and optimization process across the organization
  • Initiates and implements direct outreach marketing efforts to potential external customers on behalf the unit's programs and services


Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a related field of study
  • 6+ year's Brand & Digital, PR strategy / marketing communication experience


Professional experiences/Knowledge

  • Ideally with experience of the Consumer Electronics industry / passion for tech
  • Co-work with subsidiary marketing team in charge of development & delivery of Marketing/digital projects (optimising owned, earned & paid platforms) to deliver brand/commercial goals
  • Able to demonstrate strategies and achievement to balance commercial, customer and consumer motivations to deliver outstanding results
  • Demonstrate fluid understanding of digital advertising options via retailers, websites, social media channels together with a thorough understanding of KPI setting and measurements
  • Agency management experience
  • Able to balance multiple projects and work to aggressive time scales within budget. Manage complexity and its implications within projects
  • Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management
  • Manage complexity and its implications within projects
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
  • Insists on high implementation standards i.e. striking a balance of speed and quality, prioritization and manage expectations where appropriate


Other requirements

  • Developed people skills - experienced working as team and liaising with colleagues of all levels. Ideally with some people management experience
  • Relationship building – must be comfortable in dealing with customers, agencies and other key stakeholders and have an ability to build positive relationships
  • Gravitas – has to be able to quickly build the respect and trust of internal and external stakeholders with tangible delivery of business benefit in short time frames
  • Good persuader/ educator/achiever among management level to accelerate digital/data-based Transformation and Enhancement to bring concrete business results across the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good networking and relationship building
  • Good organisational and administration skills & attributes
  • Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment
  • Proven commercial acumen and ability to achieve commercial objectives
  • Experience of working within a performance management environment
  • Able to be flexible and develop quality, customer-focused targets and service
  • Excellent business English and Korean (written & spoken)
