Senior Algorithm Developer – (Embedded & EdgeML) (d / m / w)

(Friedrichshafen Area, Germany)

Based in between two gems of SW Germany – The Schwarzwald and Lake Konstanz - an innovative and ferociously expanding company is offering an unparalleled Senior Algorithm Developer position.

This cutting-edge and international company develops world-leading sensors for local and international partners. During this exciting time, they urgently require an Algorithm Developer to spearhead the algorithm development for EdgeAI Embedded devices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and improve existing algorithms for low-power, high-performance Edge AI sensors
  • Obtain and merge data from multiple sensors (Sensor Fusion), using simulation tools/methods for visualization
  • Work with microcontrollers in integrating application-layer software
  • Conduct various tests to ensure the highest left of software code quality
  • Utilize AI-accelerated HW and EdgeAI/EdgeML methods in order to prototype and consequently create the next generation of sensors


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Completed a degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or similar
  • 3+ years’ of experience in algorithm development, specifically for Embedded Systems/Devices
  • Excellent mathematical, statistical, and data analysis skills
  • Experience in C language, or OO-languages such as C++, Python etc.
  • Experience with EdgeAI/EdgeML/TinyML is a bonus
  • Fluent in English and B1 German
