Location: Fully remote if living in Germany


The client is a global digital engineering company that helps organizations design, architect, and optimize their data ecosystems for maximum efficiency and performance. Job Description:

They are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define data architecture strategies, and ensure the integrity, security, and performance of our clients' data environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and provide advanced support for Data & BI solutions using Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platform and its associated technologies.
  • Utilize Databricks/Snowflake data platform to devise sophisticated data pipelines and storage solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive workshops to gather, analyze, and translate multifaceted business needs into precise technical requirements, in partnership with different business units.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other data-focused languages.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize data queries, enhance performance, and guarantee security compliance.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of Data, analytics & AI projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement long-term data architecture and BI strategies and roadmaps.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to influence data architecture and BI strategy.
  • Deliver articulate and comprehensive presentations to various stakeholders, from technical staff to executive leadership, using data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members and provide thought leadership within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to design and facilitate workshops for various stakeholder groups to align expectations, gather requirements, and promote data, analytics & AI solutions.
  • Proficiency in developing long-term strategic roadmaps for data architecture and business intelligence.
  • Experience in conducting market and competitive analysis to influence strategic decisions in the data landscape.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in a senior data architecture role, with a focus on data architecture, BI, and strategic planning.
  • Solid experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks/Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Pyspark or other data-focused languages.
  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is preferred.
