Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Optibus is looking for an exceptional Senior QA Engineer to join our Platform R&D team in the challenge of moving the world smarter and more efficiently.

As a QA Engineer on the Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user-experience of our company's products and services by delivering sophisticated cross-module features and architectural solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on manual and automated testing of web-based products.
  • Write test plans for new and existing features.
  • Handle non-functional tests (e.g., performance, load) using modern tools for web app testing.
  • Work closely with the team lead, developers, product manager and UX/UI designer in a cross-functional team, as well as closely collaborate with other teams in the R&D department across the organization


Requirements:

  • Residence in Germany - a must.
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a QA Engineer.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience testing SaaS products on web platforms.
  • Experience writing code (JavaScript) is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with E2E automation (Cypress.io / Selenium).
  • Experience using web performance tools
  • Experience in writing straightforward, concise, and thorough STD and test cases.
  • Fluent written and verbal English skills
