Head of Employment Law

The Role and Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive advice and counsel to management regarding complex matters related to labour law and collective law queries, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
- Collaborating closely and proactively with colleagues from the People & Culture department to align strategies, policies, and initiatives that support organisational goals.
- Cultivating and nurturing a robust and collaborative partnership with the works council, focusing particularly on the general and group works council levels.
- Taking a lead role in drafting, revising, and skilfully negotiating company agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to safeguard the organisation's interests while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Coordinating and managing issues of co-determination from the employer's perspective, ensuring that employee representation is handled effectively and in accordance with legal frameworks.
- Providing direct supervision and guidance to a team of two, fostering their professional development, ensuring optimal performance, and providing guidance.
- Taking ownership and managing various projects as assigned.
Your Profile:
- Completion of 1st and 2nd state examinations in law.
- Practical experience working with co-determination committees.
- Initial experience in leadership roles.
- In-depth expertise in essential HR areas.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of IT is advantageous.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for business purposes.
- Fluency in English and German Languages
