Working at Freudenberg: We will wowyourworldResponsibilities:

  • Lead:As Director Financial Accounting Germany, you will be responsiblefor the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financialstatements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS for the entitiesin Germany andAustria.

  • Analyze:You will monitor the financial performance of the entities, as wellas address tax requirements and funding needs. This includesconducting analyses and evaluations and providing proactive,insightfulreports.

  • Represent:Confidently represent accounting matters to internal stakeholders,corporate functions, and external partners such as auditors and taxinspectors.

  • Manage:Together with your six-member team and in collaboration with theShared Service Center, you will ensure high quality and efficiencyin operational accounting. You will identify opportunities forimprovement and implement them consistently andpragmatically.

  • Drive:Advance the digitization and automation of accounting processes,provide guidance to international subsidiaries during global S/4HANA rollouts, and manage projects in your area ofresponsibility.

  • Transform:Develop the Financial Accounting team into a Center of Excellence,placing a strong emphasis on the sustainable development of youremployees.

Qualifications:

  • Education& Experience: A degree, ideally with a focus onAccounting, or an equivalent qualification. Several years ofexperience in HGB and IFRS accounting, preferably in an auditenvironment or a comparable leadershipposition.

  • Expertise:Solid knowledge of national and international accounting standardsas well as taxlaw.

  • Skills:A deep understanding of operational accounting processes, combinedwith an analytical, structured approach and a hands-on mentality.Strong proficiency in SAP FI/CO, ideally with SAP S/4 HANAexperience.

  • Leadership:Proven ability to build future-ready accounting teams and utilizemodern technologiesefficiently.

  • Communication:A team player with excellent communication skills in German andEnglish, fluent in both written and spokenforms.
