Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer - Java, Microservices, AWS - Germany/Remote - 100.000 EUR

We have partnered with a booming tech company offering global fulfilment solutions in their search for a Principal Engineer. You will have expertise in transitioning from a monolithic approach to microservices. Your expertise from technological and cloud architecture perspectives will shape the trajectory of our multi-year IT Transformation program.

What you offer:

• A degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive professional experience as a Senior/Principal Engineer, Software Architect, or Technical Leader.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing solutions in AWS cloud environments.
• Expertise in IT transformation projects, including modernizing IT processes and transitioning to microservices.
• Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, AWS, API Management, and related technologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or a keen desire to mentor.
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for pushing boundaries.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong English language essential and German a nice to have.
