As an Imaging Specialist at AICURA, you will be tasked with developing advanced imaging pipelines tailored to the neuroimaging domain, using both cutting-edge deep learning technologies and established algorithms. Your role will involve the creation of robust, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with our AI ecosystem, enhancing our ability to analyze and interpret medical imaging data effectively. This position requires a deep understanding of various neuroimaging modalities (MRI, PET, CT) and familiarity with relevant neuroimaging software (ANTsX, FreeSurfer, FSL, SPM). You will also be expected to handle imaging data formats such as DICOM and NIFTI proficiently.

Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar/higher degree with at least 3 years of industry experience
• Professional experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Professional experience in Neuroimaging and Neuroimaging software, such as ANTsX, FreeSurfer, FSL, SPM
• Professional experience with imaging data formats, including DICOM and NIFTI
• Professional experience with deep learning in medical imaging in particular MRI, PET, CT
• Strong skills in math/statistics
• Strong visualization skills
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with tools used in the software lifecycle i.e. CI/CD and git
• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in German
• Experience with other programming languages and visualization tools, such as Mathematica, Matlab, Mojo
• Previous work experience in a startup or in a highly flexible work environment
