Job Description:

Our clients, global M&A Advisory are seeking an experienced and accomplished M&A Senior Director/Partner to join their team in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex financial transactions, developing and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of their M&A practice.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and financial restructuring transactions for clients in various industries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private equity firms, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs
  • Provide strategic and financial advice to clients, including valuation analysis, industry trends, and transaction structuring
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level bankers, providing guidance on transaction execution and career development
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the M&A practice in Munich.
  • Collaborate with other directors and senior management to set and execute the firm's strategic priorities



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Healthcare or Life Sciences sector experience is a must.
  • At least 9 years of investment banking/M&A experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior and mid-level bankers
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus
