Tasks and Qualifications:

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Als Database Expert MSSQL & Oracle (m/w/d) (System Landscape Optimization) überblicken/überprüfen Sie kontinuierlich die Effizienz und Effektivität der Datenbanksystemlandschaften der KION Group AG hinsichtlich der Parameter Stabilität, Performance und Kosten.
  • Sie analysieren bestehende Implementierungen bezüglich möglicher Optimierungen, entwickeln gemeinsam mit den Anwendungsbetreuern/-Entwicklern entsprechende Zielkonzepte und unterstützen bei deren Umsetzung.
  • Sie untersuchen die Infrastruktur hinsichtlich Einsparungspotenzialen (Basisinfrastruktur, Softwarelizenzen) und helfen maßgeblich mit, die Betriebskosten zu reduzieren/optimieren.
  • Sie arbeiten aktiv im Datenbankadministratorenteam mit und sorgen gemeinsam mit den Kollegen für einen stabilen und performanten DB-Betrieb mit einer hohe Kundenzufriedenheit.
  • Sie helfen mit die Datenbanksysteme auf einem aktuellen Softwarestand/Sicherheitsstand zu halten und kümmern sich um regelmäßige und notwendige Upgrades.
  • Sie unterstützen in fachbezogenen IT- oder Business-Projekte.

Ihr Profil:

  • Sie bringen drei oder gerne auch mehr Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich ORACLE und MSSQL Datenbanksystemen mit.
  • Sie verfügen über fundierte Kenntnisse in den Betriebssystemen Windows/Linux und haben praktische Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen/Cloud-Technologien (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) .
  • Sie haben Freude daran, komplexe technische Sachverhalte zu durchdringen und auf Optimierungsmöglichkeiten hin zu überprüfen und bringen die dazu notwendigen analytische Fähigkeiten mit.
  • Sie haben ein gutes Verständnis bezüglich Lizensierungsmechaniken und haben Interesse auch in diesem Gebiet am Ball zu bleiben.
  • Sie kommunizieren sicher auf Deutsch und Englisch
