Product DeliveryEAL & FAL (m/f/d)
Location:Munich
Scope:
Manage thedelivery (cost, quality and delivery) of engines from EAL to ourcustomers according to the Master Schedule.
Manage ourEPI activity and support at the customer Final Assembly Line (cost,quality and delivery).
Ensure that overall supply chainperformance, now and in the future, meets the needs of ourcustomers.
Accountabilities:
Interfacewithin the Product Delivery team to ensure that all tasks and teammembers are coordinated in achieving the Product Delivery goals.Recommend solutions to Head of Product Delivery in case ofconflicting priorities.
Ensure on time, onquality and on cost delivery of Part21 new build engines (inc.Flight Test):
Manage the production anddelivery of all new build engines as per the Master Schedule &Order Book.
Ensure availability through supportingforecasting process, flow down and robust industrialgovernance.
Manage the cross-functional team in theProduct Delivery responsible for the EAL and FAL stage of theProduct Delivery.
Manage interface with Suppliers andPartner Companies through the EAL & FAL stage of the ProductDelivery.
Manage interface to customers (internal EPIteams and external) of engine delivery status andperformance.
Support Product Design as the point ofcontact / integrated project team member for EAL to allowsuccessful product change introduction with minimal impact todeliveries.
Manage the AW budget for Quality issues andTransportation.
Manage the POT, FAL and EAL buffer stockquantities.
Manage the delivery of advanced equipment inline with the Master Schedule.
Manage theAirbus PwP Supply Chain relationship:
Managethe interface with ADS PwP supply chain to ensure high levels ofcustomer understanding, support andsatisfaction.
Manage our EPI activities andsupport at the customer Final AssemblyLine:
Manage our activities at the customerfinal assembly line.
Ensure support level through robustindustrial governance.
Manage the cross-functional teamin the Product Delivery responsible for the FAL stage of theProduct Delivery.
Manage interface with Suppliers andPartner Companies through the FAL stage of the ProductDelivery.
Manage interface to Airbus FAL.
Support Product Design as the point of contact / integrated projectteam member for FAL to allow successful product change introductionwith minimal impact to deliveries.
Manage the AW budgetfor FAL support and any customer fundedactivities.
Prepare the future / Continuousimprovement:
Define and/or keep updatedgovernance, rules and workflows for the applicable part of theProduct Delivery.
Work with the team to drive short-termimprovements to how we work.
Within Product Delivery,propose long-term orientations and improvement.
Lead therisk management activity for the applicable part of the ProductDelivery.
Follow-up the implementation of theorientations decided by Head of ProductDelivery/Programme/EXCOM.
Manage andaccountable for the EPI Part 21 transactions and stocks in the EPIERP system:
Responsible for the Part 21 Goodsreceipt and stocks.
Support EPI finance team in all Part21 related SAP tasks.
Perform frequent inventories atEAL, POT and FAL and adjust SAP.
Raise demands in SAP forPart 21 purpose.
Requiredskills:
Bachelor / Master Degree inEngineering, Business, Programme Management or Supply ChainManagement.
3-4 years (on-the-job experience) of projectmanagement, supply chain management and/or operationsmanagement.
Experience in Project Management.
Negotiation Skills to manage complex product delivery plans withvendors and customer.
Member of, or working towards,professional project management and/or operations managementorganization.
Able to work effectively in amulti-cultural environment.
Fluent in English written andspoken.
Good leadership, communication, presentation andcomputer skills.
Professional experience in the aviationindustry preferred and an advantage.
Good skills in SAPsupply chain environment.
Reports to: Head of ProductDelivery
