Actuarial Director

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Group Actuarial Department. The candidate will have a lead role to play in the continued success of their Actuarial Projects team. Their primary responsibility will be to contribute to key projects such as M&A Due Diligence or adoption of new regulatory requirements. The candidate will have the opportunity to help build a vibrant and dynamic Group Actuarial team.

Overview

Key Contribution Areas

• Contribute to analysis of regulatory opportunities and challenges
• Contribute to implementation of new regulatory requirements such as BMA EBS Enhancements or ICS
• Carry out M&A Due Diligence work, challenge assumptions and analyse impacts on key Group metrics
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other Group functions

Qualifications required:

• Qualified actuary
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II regulations
• Strong familiarity with European life insurance markets

Experience required:

• A minimum of 7 years post qualification experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including, business and functional requirements, management level presentations and proposals
• Experience in M&A Due Diligence preferred
