What youdo
  • You work in the power tradingdepartment and optimize our portfolio of flexible assets (i.a.batteries and renewable energies) in the delivery range from yearsahead up until very short-term highly volatile electricity and gridservice markets.
  • Developing and improving ouralgorithmic trading to maximize returns by applying and monitoringstate-of-the-art trading strategies (e.g. real optionmodels).
  • Management and optimization ofportfolio positions, asset constraints considering marketconditions and corporate objectives.
  • Closecollaboration with the Risk Management and Market Analytics teamsto enhance trading decisions.
  • Cross-functionalcollaboration with our dedicated Trading Tech Team(s) to fosterrobust and automated tradingoperations.
  • Reporting and presentation oftrading results, including deriving recommendations for seniormanagement.
Who youare
  • You have a degree in energyeconomics, business administration, finance, or a related field.Candidates with different trading backgrounds or candidates withenergy trading experience but no economics degree are alsowelcome.
  • You bring several years of experiencein commodity trading, ideally with a focus onpower.
  • You have ideally first experience inoptimizing renewable and/or batteryportfolios.
  • You are familiar with algo- andoption trading technologies and algorithms, which is aplus.
  • You have a deep knowledge of energytrading markets, market mechanisms, and regulatoryrequirements.
  • You have strong analytical skillswith the ability to quickly interpret complex market data and turnit into profitable decisions.
  • You haveexperience with state-of-the-art trading systems andtools.
  • You are a team player with the abilityto thrive in a dynamic, results-orientedenvironment.
  • You are fluent in English -written and spoken; the ability to speak and read German is a bigplus.
