DSP Engineer- C++ Embedded- ASAP- Hybrid in Bavaria- 40% remote
Location: Bavaria
Hourly rate: 70€, flexible
For one of our clients, a manufacturer based in Munich, I am looking for a DSP expert for physical layer implementation. For the project you must be familiar with OFDM and the implementation of the corresponding algorithms on digital signal processors.
Tasks:
-Integration of existing (previous) firmware module implementations into the test environment
-Modeling of signal processing algorithms in Matlab, based on written algorithm specifications and / or existing code (floating point, fixed point)
-Integration of Matlab reference implementations into the test environment
-Implementation and optimization of the DSP code for the respective firmware module on a DSP of the current generation and setup of reference tests in the test environment
-Determining, analyzing and evaluating deviations between the implementations of the previous generation and the current generation and correcting them if necessary
-Determining, analyzing and evaluating the MIPS and memory consumption of modules and improving where necessary
-Integrating and debugging modules within the digital radio chain
Must-have skills:
- Sound experience in DSP programming in C/C++ and assembler
- Familiar with OFDM signal processing
- Experience with embedded development toolchains, debugging tools and version control systems
- Experience with debugging tools for embedded software (such as debugger, logic analyzer and oscilloscope)
Key dates:
Startdate: ASAP or latest middle of June
12 months contract
