AufgabenWe are lookingfor an Investment Director with astrong focus to drive growth and profitability. The InvestmentDirector will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managinga portfolio of investment opportunities that align with ourstrategic focus on late-stage ventures. This role requires astrategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial analysis,due diligence, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate willhave a track-record of identifying successful investmentopportunities and the ability to manage investments through theirgrowth phase.
Your KeyResponsibilitiesinclude:
SourcingandOrigination:
- Identifyand originate investment opportunities in companies that are eitherprofitable or nearing profitability.
- Developand maintain a network of contacts, including entrepreneurs,venture capitalists, private equity firms, investment banks, andindustry advisors.
- Actively participate inindustry events, conferences, and meetings to identify potentialinvestment targets.
DueDiligence andEvaluation:
- Conductcomprehensive due diligence on potential investment targets,including financial analysis, market research, competitiveanalysis, and management assessments.
- Developdetailed financial models to evaluate the viability, growthpotential, and risks associated with investmentopportunities.
- Prepare investment memoranda andpresent recommendations to Luminance’s investmentcommittee.
InvestmentManagement:
- Manage aportfolio of investments, monitoring performance and providingstrategic guidance to portfolio companies.
- Workclosely with portfolio company management teams to drive growth,operational efficiencies, andprofitability.
- Conduct regular portfolioreviews and prepare performance reports for the familyoffice.
RelationshipManagement:
- Establishand maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies,ensuring clear communication and alignment ofinterests.
- Serve as the primary liaison betweenLuminance and portfoliocompanies.
MarketAnalysis andStrategy:
- Stay informedabout market trends, industry developments, and competitivedynamics to identify new opportunities and potentialrisks.
- Contribute to the development ofLuminance's investment strategy, identifying new sectors orgeographies for potentialinvestment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’sdegree in finance, economics, business administration, or a relatedfield; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5-7 years ofexperience in investment management, private equity, venturecapital, or a similar role with a focus on late-stageinvestments.
- Proven track-record of sourcing,evaluating, and managing investments in profitable ornear-profitability companies.
- Strong financialmodeling, analytical, and due diligenceskills.
- Excellent communication andpresentation skills, with the ability to convey complex informationclearly and effectively.
- Strong relationshipmanagement skills and the ability to build rapport with portfoliocompanies, industry contacts, and otherstakeholders.
- Self-starter with a high degreeof initiative, integrity, andprofessionalism.
- You are highly proficient inEnglish, both written andspoken.
