Job Title: Contract Program Manager (IT Consultancy)

Duration : 12 months - chance of extension

Location: Germany (flexible, remote work available)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Program Manager with a background in IT consultancy work to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex IT projects.


Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee multiple IT projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
  3. Coordinate project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and third-party contractors, to ensure project success.
  4. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management on project status, including progress, budget variance, and any issues or risks.
  7. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality work.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT project management, and share knowledge and insights with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager in the IT consultancy industry, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  3. Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
  6. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  7. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  8. PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
