Location: Germany | Remote

Overview:

Adeptis Group is partnered with a leading Global Logistics Systems company that operates in over 35 countries. As the organisation is considered as Critical National Infrastructure, they are liable to further regulations including NIS2.


Join the Cybersecurity team as a Tier 3 SOC Engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing security monitoring, incident management, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for SOC operations
  • Integrate security platforms through APIs to automate workflows
  • Enhance SOAR solutions
  • Deploy and optimise security tools
  • Mitigate threats with SOC team collaboration
  • Utilise threat intelligence and IOCs for advanced threat detection
  • Conduct regular automation strategy reviews
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and response techniques
  • Perform advanced threat hunting and security tool management
  • Advise on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices
  • Contribute to long-term security strategy development


Requirements | Desirables

  • Proven SOC automation and scripting experience
  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and SOAR platforms
  • Strong incident response, network protocols, encryption, and OS knowledge
  • Familiar with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection tools
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CSA) highly desirable
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong coding skills
  • Innovative, ethical, and an excellent communicator
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
