Job Title: Senior Energy Data Manager (m/f/d)


Location: Offices located in Schleswig-Holstein, with some home office flexibility

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a talented Energy Data Manager to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will manage energy data, automate processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a key interface between various departments. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the sustainable energy industry and drive significant impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from market players, service providers, and end customers.
  • Implement regulatory requirements in the electricity market for roles such as supplier, balancing group manager, operational manager, and technical resource operator.
  • Automate processes, identify deviations in process flows and data statuses, and generate reports.
  • Serve as an interface with Finance/Controlling, Trading & Analysis, and Sales departments.


Qualifications:

  • Commercial or technical education with ideally some experience in the energy industry.
  • Degree in energy economics, energy management, environmental sciences, economic sciences, environmental and energy technology, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in energy data management or similar roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience handling and analyzing large data sets, with a strong goal- and result-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and high IT affinity.
  • Independent working style, initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in collecting and evaluating energy data is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and spoken German language skills.
