CQV Engineer – Hamburg, Germany – 12-months contract


I am looking for an experienced CQV Engineer who is interested in working for one of the top-ranking companies in High-Tech Pharmaceutical Engineering. Join a team of hard-working Engineers in Hamburg, Germany and gain valuable experience working on an exciting project in the biotech sector.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will provide leadership for site level CQV activities
  • You will carry out hands on CQV activities post documentation phase
  • You will execute commissioning of various process & utilities
  • You will be responsible for planning and coordinating all measures to maintain GMP compliance for the engineering department as well as for planning and supporting the qualification work for process plants and process equipment in the production areas
  • IQ/OQ of Upstream and Downstream equipment/instrumentation
  • Ensure you complete your assigned of work within the defined project schedule, ensure the engineering design standards are achieved and equipment operability demonstrated
  • Support and advise other departments in the preparation and implementation of machine acceptance tests
  • Eventually ensure all commissioning procedures are completed to ensure a smooth handover to operations is possible


Your Requirements:

  • You preferably have a university degree in pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology or process engineering or a comparable subject
  • If you don’t have degree several years of professional experience in the field of commissioning / qualification / validation under GMP, are desirable with process systems and process equipment in production areas in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological environment
  • You are ready to work with different departments
  • You are independent and proactively prepared to do the hands-on activities
  • You are fluent in English
