Our team works closely withcreative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design anddevelop technologies that improve access to the world'sinformation. We're responsible for guiding products throughout theexecution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning,packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to ourusers.

In this role, you will be responsible fordesigning, building, securing, and operating the systems that keepGoogle running smoothly, ensuring Google remains the world'sleading provider of enterprise technology solutions. You will focuson delivering differentiated experiences and capabilities so we caninnovate in the team and reference product dataspace.

The Core team builds the technicalfoundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners andadvocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms,product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are theessential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherentexperiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation forevery developer. We look across Google’s products to build centralsolutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existingsystems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a uniqueopportunity to impact important technical decisions across thecompany.

Responsibilities

  • LeadProduct Requirements Documents (PRD) by collaborating with partnerteams (e.g., engineers, Program Managers, User Experience) duringproduct design and development to implement the requirements toturn PRDs into Objectives and Key Results (OKR) for multipleteams.
  • Own and define projectroadmaps.
  • Develop and secure buy-in for aproduct vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overallproduct narrative and direction, achieving anoutcome.
  • Manage validation of market size andopportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity,business).
  • Identify, collect, and trackappropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative andqualitative for new or existing products or businessventures.
