ERP Project Manager

Introduction to the Position:
Our client is seeking a skilled ERP Project Manager to spearhead their finance transformation initiative in Munich.
As the ERP Project Manager, you will lead the implementation of Workday Financials in collaboration with the implementation partner. Following the go-live phase, you will assume responsibility for system maintenance and roadmap design and implementation.
Fluent German language proficiency and residency in Munich are prerequisites for this role. If you possess a strong background in ERP implementation projects and have exposure to Workday or related systems, this is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's organization.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the implementation partner, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the implementation process, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure the successful deployment and functionality of Workday Financials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement post-go-live enhancements and system optimizations.
- Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap for Workday Financials, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and systems, with specific experience in ERP systems.
- Fluent German language proficiency is required, along with residency in Munich.
- Familiarity with Workday Financials or related Workday modules (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday HCM) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence and drive change in a dynamic environment.
