Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) ManagerBased in GermanyJob ref: EG /64718A world-renowned manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HRIS and Payroll Implementation Lead to take ownership of a major transformation programme across its people and payroll systems.The role will lead the transition away from a legacy HR platform (UKG) to a new ADP Payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. In parallel, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the selection and implementation of a new Travel and Expense Management system.This is a highly visible, business-critical role combining systems delivery, payroll governance, HR process transformation, and long-term platform ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesHRIS and ADP ImplementationLead the full end-to-end migration from UKG to ADP across Payroll and HCMAct as internal systems owner and subject matter expertLead requirements gathering across Core HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Absence and Leave, Employee Self-Service, and Reporting and Workforce AnalyticsOversee system configuration, testing, data migration, parallel runs, and go-liveEnsure full payroll, tax, and employment compliance for Germany and any additional jurisdictions as requiredAct as the primary contact for ADP and external implementation partnersTravel and Expense System ImplementationLead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of a new Travel and Expense platformRedesign expense workflows and approval structuresEnsure integration with Finance, Payroll, and HR systemsImprove compliance, visibility, and cost controlProcess Improvement and Change ManagementRedesign HR and payroll processes aligned to best practiceLead stakeholder engagement across HR, Finance, IT, and OperationsDeliver structured training and user adoption programmesDevelop standard operating procedures, governance, and internal controlsOngoing System OwnershipOwn platform performance post-implementationManage system upgrades, enhancements, and vendor relationshipsDrive continuous improvement in workforce data and reporting capabilityKey Skills and Experience:EssentialProven delivery of HRIS and Payroll system implementationsHands-on experience with ADP Payroll and HCM platformsExperience migrating away from legacy platforms (ideally UKG)Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, HR operational processes, and workforce data structuresEnd-to-end project management capabilityStrong stakeholder and vendor management skillsExperience introducing or managing Travel and Expense systemsGood working knowledge of German payroll legislation and labour lawDesirableManufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector backgroundMulti-site workforce experienceExposure to international payroll environmentsPersonal AttributesHighly organised and detail-drivenCommercially aware and data-focusedConfident change leaderHands-on delivery mindsetStrong communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholdersFor EU roles:For reasons of better legibility, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (f/m/d) is avoided.
