About the Job: As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with our partner company and internal teams to ensure our IT systems align seamlessly with business objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals, incorporating proactive capacity planning and scalable solutions.
  • Lead and empower a skilled IT team, fostering a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, storage systems, and cloud services.
  • Develop and implement plans to minimize downtime, protect data, and ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices to safeguard our data and infrastructure against cyber threats, ensuring ongoing security and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to optimize service levels and costs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading IT infrastructure projects such as network design, server management, system administration and Design & Implementation planning.
  • Proven experience of three to five years in IT infrastructure management, with expertise in the Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in networking, virtualization, and security tools.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements engineering and exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Fluent in both English and German languages.
  • Familiarity with hybrid IT environments, including on-premises infrastructure and cloud services integration.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
