My client are looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join a growing retail business team. This fully remote position gives you the opportunity to work across Germany, shaping data models, pipelines, and semantic layers to empower business decisions. You’ll play a key role in turning raw data into actionable insights for commercial, marketing, and operations teams.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain data models and pipelines in SnowflakeDevelop and optimize semantic layers to ensure consistent metrics and KPIs across business unitsBuild transformations and data workflows using dbt (Data Build Tool)Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutionsImplement best practices for data quality, governance, and performance optimizationTranslate complex business needs into clean, documented, and reusable data modelsContribute to the design and evolution of the company’s data architecture and analytics strategyYour ProfileStrong experience in Snowflake and dbt, with a proven track record in building analytics pipelinesKnowledge of semantic layer development and maintaining consistent metrics/KPIs across dashboardsSQL expertise and ability to work with structured and semi-structured dataUnderstanding of modern data warehousing and analytics best practicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsFluent in German (C1+) essential for collaboration with business stakeholdersComfortable working in a fully remote environment across Germany
