ROLE: Grid Specialist

LOCATION: Berlin (Hybrid)

LANGUAGE: German (C1 or above) and English


For exciting new opportunity, you will be working with the Land Acquisition and Project Development teams to develop large-scale solar PV projects. You will support the EPC department on realizing the grid connection.


Your Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively and autonomously support large-scale solar PV projects through development and construction with respect to all grid related matter
  • Manage end-to-end grid application process for Solar PV projects.
  • Establish relationships with public and private grid operators.
  • Identify suitable grid availability areas in collaboration with Solar Project Development Team.
  • Provide technical assistance to Project Developers throughout project development.
  • Negotiate grid agreements and permits for solar PV projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize grid connection arrangements and support commissioning.


Required Skills:

  • Fluent German and English
  • 3+ years of grid experience
  • At least a bachelor or masters degree in engineering
  • Ideally solar or any renewable energy experience
