Job Title: Cybersecurity Consultant - ISO 27001 Specialist
Location: Munich
About Us: We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant with expertise in ISO 27001 to join our dynamic team and help our clients achieve the highest levels of information security.
Job Summary: As a Cybersecurity Consultant specializing in ISO 27001, you will be responsible for guiding our clients through the process of implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 certification. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of information security management systems (ISMS) to assess risks, design security frameworks, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards. This role requires a combination of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
ISO 27001 Implementation and Certification:
- Lead the implementation of ISO 27001 for clients, including gap analysis, risk assessment, and ISMS development.
- Develop and maintain documentation required for ISO 27001 certification.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare clients for external audits to achieve and retain certification.
Risk Management:
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk treatment plans.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security controls to mitigate risks.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Develop, review, and update information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure that security policies align with ISO 27001 requirements and best practices.
Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate client staff on ISO 27001 and information security practices.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within client organizations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the ISMS and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity and ISO 27001 standards.
Client Engagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all ISO 27001-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant with a focus on ISO 27001 implementation and certification.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and information security management systems.
- Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor preferred.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and security controls.
- Fluent in German and English
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
