Task description:

As part of the project, the customer's subsidiaries will be integrated into ServiceNow (MRSNow). The onboarding is based on a process that starts with the completion of a questionnaire by the subsidiary's managers, which is then evaluated in the project and finally serves as the basis for onboarding according to the specified steps. The following steps must be carried out by the contractor for each subsidiary according to the cluster and wave plan:

Configuration of recognition:

Integration with Active Directory by pulling in baseline data for configuration management (user, department, company, location)

Introduction of business application data into LeanIX in compliance with the customer baseline

Set up dynamic discovery of configuration items (CI's) within ServiceNow, including core classes server, database, storage, network, end user devices (clients, printers and cell phones).

Configure the discovery types in-scope (Cloud (AWS/Azure, VCenter, SCCM/Intunes, IP Discovery)

Additional inbound integrations for core class data population depending on entity infrastructure

IP schedule configuration and automation

If a job/schedule fails: Correct forwarding, incident and assignment

Configuring the information domain:

Identifying business processes and ingesting based on the customer baseline (dependency on LeanIX)

Identification of information objects and ingestion based on the customer baseline (dependency on RSA Archer)

Alignment of RTO and RPO values between the subsidiary and the customer. Ensure DR attributes and values are set

Import Service Level Agreements for the subsidiary

Capture PII, PHI and SII where available

Ensure baseline attributes for business application ownership (IT Product Manager and Business Product Owner). All infrastructure components have a corresponding technical service offering

Updates to the Information Domain Dashboard that enable filtering for additional partners

Capture and definition of attributes such as confidentiality, availability, integrity, criticality, third party, vendor, consumer, RACE (dependency on LeanIX and RSA Archer).

Requirements:

• The developer should have a sound knowledge of ServiceNow so that they can carry out the above activities independently.
• The developer will work in the MRSNow development environment.
• Progress is reported in the Azure DevOps project planning tool.
• The performance times are recorded in Planview.
• Necessary coordination takes place exclusively remotely in Scrum meetings
• Extensive hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Experience with the configuration of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB), taking into account the needs and requirements of the stakeholders
• Setup of ServiceNow discovery (schedules/IP areas/mid-server) for server/DB/network and storage components
• Knowledge of the configuration and automation of the rules engine in ServiceNow
• Understanding of central ITSM processes such as change management, incident management, knowledge management, problem management
• Mastery of data manipulation and analysis
• Team player with a collaborative attitude
