Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven Enterprise Sales professional based in Germany who can confidently articulate our value proposition to C-level executives in the DATCH insurance sector. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise-level insurance clients.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the SaaS revolution we are spearheading in the EMEA market while playing a key role in the expansion of Clearwater's business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, clients, and key market influencers, while understanding clients’ existing infrastructure, business requirements, and challenges.
- Proactively familiarise yourself with market complexities and Clearwater’s value proposition.
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones within the DATCH insurance market, addressing complex problems throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct effective meetings with prospects to identify their needs.
- Navigate and manage opportunities, successfully closing deals in your designated market.
- Collaborate closely with executive management and internal teams (Client Services, Marketing, Pre-Sales).
- Lead comprehensive product demonstrations covering most requested modules/reports/asset classes.
Qualifications:
- More than 10 years of SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of achieving annual quotas exceeding €1 million.
- Strong understanding of the investment insurance ecosystem from a middle and back-office perspective, covering areas such as Investment Data, Reconciliations, Fund Accounting, and Reporting (i.e. Solvency II, VAG, MA-RISK, IFRS 17, and GAAP).
- Eager to develop new business and advance their career in a sales-focused role.
- Familiarity with and proficient understanding of the German insurance market, with a demonstrated ability to sell into this sector.
- Proven history of exceeding targets and selling financial technology solutions using structured sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC.
- Excellent presentation and writing skills suitable for client-facing activities.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- High adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
