Electricity Sales Manager (Berlin) | Onshore Wind


Role Overview:


Amber Renewables is representing an Independent Power Producer (IPP) within onshore wind in search of an experienced Electricity Sales Manager. The role focuses on generating revenue through electricity sales, collaborating with direct marketers, and managing the financial aspects of electricity contracts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with direct marketers to optimise electricity sales to the market.
  • Manage annual contracts and identify the best market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring timely payments and monitoring credit notes.
  • Plan for turbines' end-of-life, including hedging electricity sales via Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
  • Manage Guarantees of Origin (GOOs) to ensure green energy compliance.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in direct marketing or electricity sales.
  • Strong understanding of electricity markets, trading, and direct marketing.
  • Ability to balance hands-on tasks with strategic initiatives like hedging and risk management.
  • Practical, adaptable, and cost-conscious.
  • Based in Berlin, German language skills preferred but not essential.


Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
