Would you like to develop and implement supplier management and strategy from scratch?
As a senior strategic buyer in a medium-sized company, would you also like to conduct national and international supplier negotiations from A to Z (i.e. preparation, implementation and closing)?
You are the first point of contact for your suppliers and manage these supplier relationships. This includes qualification, evaluation and auditing.
Procurement market analyses and global sourcing are not unknown topics for you and you organize on the basis of tenders using digital purchasing tools.
You initiate purchasing projects with suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy and are responsible for setting up, processing and implementing the projects.
You will regularly coordinate with various departments on needs and markets and support purchasing monitoring with regard to price development and expectations.
Your profile: This is how you inspire us
- You are an experienced strategic buyer (m/f/d) who likes negotiations even in challenging situations
- Ideally, you come from the FMCG/Cosmetics/Personal Care environment and sourced raw materials and packaging
- You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk or similar and/or have completed a degree.
- Ideally, you have at least 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing industrial company (Consumer/FMCG/Food/Personal Care/Chemical)
- You have good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- You know the procurement market and the challenges
- You're ready for occasional travel (Local, Regional and Global)
- You have a hands-on mentality, negotiation skills and assertiveness
- You are a team player, have social skills and can express yourself well.
- You are resilient and flexible in your way of working.
- You work in a structured, goal-oriented and performance-oriented manner.
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English and German
