Your purpose as EnterpriseSecurity Architect (m/f/d):
  • Youdevelop and implement a strategic and comprehensive architectureartifact (blueprints, principles, etc.) to be included into ouroverall METRO Enterprise Architecture to enable the development ofthe needed business capabilities.
  • That is howyou support METRO's business objectives and secure that ourinformation and digital eco-system are protected against undesiredrisks.
  • You’ll hold strategic influence oversecurity and technology decisions and therefore implicit impact onMETRO entities. With your expertise you prescribe the securitytechnologies and capabilities which METRO must implement oruse.
  • Liaise with Enterprise Architecture and ITArchitecture teams around IS related topics for Enterprise ITimplementations.
  • Communicate SecurityArchitecture Strategy and Principles to IT teams, ensureunderstanding within the CISO team and be part of development andchange of IT Strategy and ITArchitecture.
  • Identify business and technicalsecurity requirements, design security controls, provide guidanceand advice on testing their effectiveness while ensuring theproduct implemented address both business and securityneeds.
  • Provide recommendations based on theallocated IT budget in regards to enhancement, integration orfurther acquisition of securitytools.
  • Anticipate IT risks, take timely actionand lead the development of technical capabilities as well as thedevelopment and maintenance of all business, technical and allother architectures with impact.
  • Create andmaintain IS architecture documents that outline the operational,systems, and technical view of the security architecture, includingall areas critical to cyber defense.
  • Provideexpert support, analysis, research, and advice on complex cybersecurity problems, and processes.
  • Partner withrisk management to quantify risks and translate complex IS issuesinto business language.
  • Build and leadcommunity engagement programs within your ecosystem by attendingconferences.
  • Identify industry and technologytrends, opportunities, and security gaps and help convert theseinto technicalrequirements.
Qualifications
  • Youare curious, with a growth mind-set and enjoy a transformationalwork environment.
  • Completed Degree in ComputerScience or Cyber Security with around 5-10 years ofexperience.
  • Proficiency in enterprisearchitecture principles and practices.
  • Abilityto collaborate with global Enterprise Architectureteams.
  • Expertise in designing and proposingsecurity controls to address business and technicalrequirements.
  • Knowledge of security controltesting and effectivenessassessment.
  • Proficiency in risk management,including the ability to identify and quantify ITrisks.
  • Skill in taking timely action tomitigate identified risks.
  • Ability to createand maintain comprehensive IS architecturedocuments.
  • Proficiency in documentingoperational, systems, and technical views of securityarchitecture.
  • Positivemind-set.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, otherEuropean languages are considered aplus.
