The Vice President Team Leader HR Services oversees payroll, benefits and immigration services in Germany, as well as workforce administration services for entities in Germany and certain processes for the branches in Central Europe, focusing on compliance, quality, budget adherence and third party management, while driving continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Service Delivery: Lead the team to deliver high quality services that meet budget, time and customer satisfaction (SLA) targets.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of HR policies, processes, systems (Oracle HR, Cognos, etc.) and vendors that support Workforce Administration.
  • Service Innovation & Transformation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to align services with business culture, enhance the employee experience and maximise service value.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure service compliance and leverage it for strategic advantage.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HRBPs, business leaders and service users to drive adoption, address concerns and demonstrate service benefits.
  • Data Management: Maintain data accuracy through team training and effective controls.
  • Policy development and review: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of effective HR policies in line with evolving business needs and legislation.
  • Intranet & Supplier Management: Manage HR intranet content and structure, oversee third party HR providers and conduct regular vendor reviews and market research.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-unit and cross-site projects to improve services and systems, including regulatory and strategic initiatives. Develop charters, provide updates, define requirements, conduct assessments, produce deliverables, execute cutover plans and provide post go-live support. Support key business projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • People Management: Communicate HR services and business strategy to the team. Set development priorities, provide feedback and support, ensure fair workload distribution, maintain quality standards and promote a positive working culture.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven HR experience: Proven experience in providing HR services such as those listed above.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the systems used to support these services.
  • Project Management Professional: Proven track record of successful project delivery (on time, on budget, high quality).
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service focus with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, thrives in a collaborative environment and can influence colleagues.
  • Adaptable Problem Solver: Versatile, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity; has a keen eye for detail and critical thinking approach.
  • Team Leader: Proven experience in leading and managing teams with strong interpersonal and listening skills.
