The Position:

As amember of the Daiichi Sankyo DX leadership team (DXLT) you will setand lead the Cybersecurity strategy and culture to support theachievement of our corporate strategy.

The roleis based in Europe and will be reporting into Chief InformationOfficer and Global Head, Digital TransformationUnit.

Job summary:

Overseeand provide strategic direction to the Cybersecurity functionglobally.

Lead the strategic direction andoperational coherence of cybersecurity in Daiichi Sankyo Groupsupervising two distinct functions, Cybersecurity policies &strategy and Cybersecurityarchitecture.

Formulate a comprehensivecybersecurity strategy managing security policies, standards, andpractices with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives,fostering a culture that enhances awareness ofsecurity.

Responsible for managing the operationof global-level cybersecurity services, including Managed SecurityServices, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Computer SecurityIncident Response Team (CSIRT). This includes planning andexecuting security assessments such as penetration tests for theglobal IT platform.

Act as close business partnerto CDXO and the heads of other functions in Global DX onCybersecurity related matters.

Cybersecuritypolicies & strategy

Responsible fordeveloping the cybersecurity strategy by establishing baselinesdefining target states, and crafting roadmaps to meet companyrequirements.

Monitors regulatory risk landscapesto iteratively update policies such as data protection, accesscontrols, and incident response in alignment with strategicobjectives and legal mandates.

Establish asingular governance framework and standards, prescribingcybersecurity requirements, identifying asset/system criticality,and delineating lines of accountability.

Involveformulating processes and guidelines for comprehensive cyber riskgovernance, and developing guidance for the cyberspace workforce interms of resourcing, staffing.

Educate employeesacross the organization to enhance awareness regardingcybersecurity matters.

Cybersecurityarchitecture

Entail developing securityrequirements to guide architecture, enhancing business resilience,and reducing vulnerabilities. It involves monitoring securitycompliance, ensuring stakeholder needs align with enterprisearchitecture for mission protection.

Identifycyber threats via threat modeling, risk assessments, and promotingbest practices and advanced technologies for technicalsecurity.

Foster a security-centric culture inarchitectural decisions across the organization iscrucial.

Cybersecurityoperations

Lead as the Chief InformationSecurity Officer (CISO) at Daiichi Sankyo our Global SecurityNetwork Operations Center (NOC) team to protect our organization'scritical information assets.

Responsible fordeveloping and implementing security strategies, managing risk, andensuring regulatory compliance across allregions.

Oversee incident response and leverageadvanced technologies to maintain a robust cybersecurityposture.

Guide and support a diverse team ofcybersecurity professionals within the Global Security NOC. Youwill provide the necessary resources and direction to ensureeffective monitoring and response to securitythreats.

Drive initiatives to enhance oursecurity framework and safeguard our digital assets globally,ensuring the continued trust and reliability of Daiichi Sankyo'soperations.

Personal skills and professionalexperience:

Bachelor’s Degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Master Degreepreferred in CyberSecurity.

Minimum of 10-15years of experience in information security, including a minimum of5 years in a senior leadership role.

Extensiveexperience in cybersecurity areas such as security architecture,incident response, risk management, and policydevelopment.

Technical Expertise of cybersecuritytechnologies, including cloud security, network security,encryption, IAM, and emerging tech, along with proficiency insecurity analytics and AI.

Knowledge andcapability to stay current with the evolving threat landscape,regulatory changes, zero trust architecture, cybersecurityframeworks, and security automationtrends.

Certifications such as CISSP (CertifiedInformation Systems Security Professional), CISM (CertifiedInformation Security Manager), or CISA (Certified InformationSystems Auditor).
