Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer
Location: Munich
Type: Full-time permanent
Salary range: €70,000 to €90,000 per year D.O.E
iO Associates is currently partnered with an innovative aerospace OEM in Munich that is currently seeking two Supply Chain Quality Engineers to join their team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technical, Quality Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in aviation quality management.
- Proficiency in assessment methods, EN/AS 9100, Part 21G, Part 145 and relevant standards.
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel worldwide for on-site audits (50% travel time required)
- Strong negotiation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform qualification and auditing at subcontractor's facilities based upon EASA requirements
- Prepare and organise external audits
- Document Audits and take care of findings and observations
- Review actions derived from visits, audits and daily operation
- Develop improvement methods and write detailed instructions for qualifications due to EASA Part 21G
- Support Quality Manager to provide sufficient evidence regarding suppliers and subcontractors structure
- Maintain technical library, ensuring all respective EASA requirements are updated
