What you can expect

• Together with your team you are responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehouse models and architectures.
• You support the implementation of a new DWH solution including the selection of technologies and standards.
• Beyond that you ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases and associated services.
• Additionally, you evaluate new technologies, build proofs of concepts and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Last but not least, you communicate and control the further development of our landscape together with external business providers.

What you bring

• You have an Advanced ETL Expertise - you have a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in ETL processes.
• You also have Proficiency in PySpark (write efficient and scalable code) and demonstrated experience in Object-Oriented Programming with PySpark (applying OOP principles using PySpark to develop robust and reusable data processing frameworks).
• Moreover, you are experienced with SQL: having a foundation in writing and interpreting SQL queries is essential, with the expectation to handle more complex queries.
• You are familiar with data tools such as Apache Kafka and have knowledge of different storage formats like Parquet, Avro, etc.
• You convince us with your excellent analytical skills, good German language skills and your ability to work on a team, as well as independently.
