Job Requirements

The Manager, People and Organization (P&O) Business Partner will support leadership team in the Central Europe Region. This role will work directly with senior stakeholders to deliver end to end HR activities for al populations of the organization, including but not limited to organizational transformation, organization design, associate relations, new acquisitions integrations and assisting with succession planning and performance management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Professional management of our P&O business partners & generalists / specialists in Central Europe.

· Coordination of P&O activities withing the SDx division and Antech teams in Central Europe including support for the Europe Hub location in Germany.

· Serving as the main contact person for managers on all topics relating to associate management and organizational development.

· Support and advice on personnel development measures including succession planning.

· Hire, train, develop, manage performance, provide leadership, and ensure success of the P&O Business Partner Team.

· Develop unified P&O workflow, process and communication standards across all regions and divisions of the business.

· Analyze KPIs and metrics, such as Headcount, FTE and Turnover Rates, Exit Interview Surveys.

· Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues.

· Cascade information and key company initiatives/strategies and support changing business needs

· Work in partnership with key stakeholders to build strategic tools and resources to enhance retention

· Deliver process excellence and ability to problem solve quickly and effectively

· Act as Business Partner for Sr. Leadership Team, as needed, particularly related to escalated matters

· Partner with leadership and P&O Counterparts to roll out key business initiatives and programs, as well as signature Mars programs (e.g. MAS, MDR, MTD, etc.)

· Promote the Antech brand and culture, as well important initiatives such as Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, within the greater context of The Essence of Mars

· Collaborate with P&O Business Partner team in providing consultative situational strategies when dealing with legal matters.

· Liaise with other departments within and outside of P&O (i.e., Compensation, Culture, Training, Talent & Learning, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Legal) to support one another, resolve issues, and contribute to the overall P&O strategy

· Ensure to support P&O teams effectively and manage disciplinary process

· Advise on best practices, organizational consistency, application of company policies

· Oversee project and priorities shifts through ever-changing demands, while distinguishing important vs. urgent matters



Work Experience

· A Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred

· 7+ years’ experience working in Human Resources and/or in a Matrix Structure were closely partnering with P&O was required.

· 3+ years leadership experience to include recruiting, developing and engaging a team.

· Experience leading a disperse geographic team preferred.

· Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws

· Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, negotiation skills and advisory skills as well as a binding and appreciative behaviour

· Very good MS Office knowledge, ideally also knowledge of Workday

· Fluent written and spoken German and English skills

· Willingness to undertake regular business trips

· Excellent consulting skills

· Proven capability to develop and mentor teams

· Trustworthy with strong business integrity and ability to hold sensitive information in confidence

· Delivers results and ability to balance priorities under pressure

· Strong conflict management skills

· Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
