VP - Enterprise Risk Management (gn)



For our client, a leading global universal bank with its European headquarters in Frankfurt, we are currently looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager (gn) to strengthen the Frankfurt Risk-Team.


Tasks:


  • Drive the Bank’s regular processes in particular risk register, risk appetite metric calibration, capital adequacy assessment including alignment to liquidity adequacy assessment, stress testing and recovery plan (RP) and ensure high quality result
  • Establish stress testing framework, including macroeconomic and geopolitical stress analysis
  • Analyse Top 10 Risk of the Bank
  • Co-ordinate the risk capital (Risk Bearing capacity) reporting as well as risk appetite dashboard and consolidated MI report to the Executive Board and Supervisory Board
  • Conduct analyses for input to more complex topics and provide recommendations to facilitate decision making
  • Support Head of Integrated and Prudential Risk in further development and design of risk strategy, stress testing framework, recovery plan and risk culture framework
  • Lead and manage projects within area of expertise



Requirements:


  • 5 years+ of relevant experience within the financial services sector, preferably in an international bank
  • Strong knowledge of the market and regulatory standards and requirements regarding ICAAP, stress testing and recovery plan.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical techniques used for risk capital modelling in general and stress testing
  • Detailed understanding of internal and external reporting of risk and capital
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Strong communication skills; Fluency in English is mandatory, German would be a plus
