About the Opportunity

Located from almost anywhere in Europe, this position is responsible for guiding clients through treatment delivery workflows, helping customers increase product utilization, lead software & hardware upgrades and act as the primary consultant for customer troubleshooting, consultation, and knowledge transfer. This position will also be responsible for resolving escalated problems and issues as well as cultivating strong relationships with the customer team (Neurosurgeon, Physicists and Therapists).


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide training to current customers. This includes treatment planning and clinical workflows, acceptance testing and commissioning, and go-live support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of training courses and supporting material.
  • Provide ongoing clinical support to current customers. This includes troubleshooting clinical issues reported by the customer, as well as consultation on best practices for treatment planning, clinical workflow, and machine QA.
  • Periodically support sales and marketing with technical presentations and demonstrations for trade shows and potential customer visits.
  • Provide customer feedback internally to help with new product ideas and ongoing improvements.
  • Contribute to the internal review and execution of validation testing of all ZAP products.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30-50%).


Experience Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in medical physics and radiation therapy, within either a business context or clinical environment.
  • Preferred experience in stereotactic radiosurgery.
  • Experience in commissioning of treatment planning systems, including beam data collection, beam modeling, and machine calibration.
  • Experience in modern techniques for radiation therapy treatment planning, including VMAT and SRS.
  • Experience in modern techniques for machine and patient specific QA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and foster trusting relationships with internal and external customers.


Plus Skills

  • Experience in programming/prototyping using MATLAB or Python.
  • Knowledge of computer networking, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of OIS and DICOM connectivity.
  • Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulations for radiation therapy and radiation protection.
