Senior Python Engineer (Data) (€80,000 & VSOP)
Location: Berlin / Munich / Paris (Remote in EU)
My client are utilising AI-driven to transform the fresh food management for grocery retailers. They are on a mission to reduce food waste by up to 50%, tackling $1.2 trillion in global losses, and slashing emissions equivalent to 6x the aviation industry -empowering retailers with smarter, sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and optimise backend services leveraging Google Cloud Platform’s cutting-edge serverless technologies to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, mobile developers, UX designers, and customer success managers to deliver seamless, user-centric solutions tailored to our customers’ evolving needs.
- Drive continuous innovation by refining engineering practices and influencing product strategy to align with industry-leading standards.
- Play a pivotal role in scaling software systems with a strong focus on data-driven solutions, bridging real-world processes with technical excellence.
- Showcase expertise in Python, combining hands-on experience with data-intensive applications to create high-performance, scalable systems.
- Harness the full potential of tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and other serverless platforms to deliver agile and impactful solutions.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment, ideally bringing experience from start-ups or scale-ups where adaptability and resilience are key.
