We’re on the look-out for dedicated individuals to expand our Information specialist team that is responsible for management, collections and validations of all information on Operabase. We are headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is a remote role.

Our platform, Operabase, is used by over 4 million people in over 30 languages. We are the most important website for a global Performing Arts professionals and audiences, to find accurate and verified information on performances, companies, festivals, artists, competitions and more.

Operabase is the world's most widely relied on “casting tool” by artistic directors, opera singers and artist managers.

Our work has a direct impact on how performing arts professionals can find and book great talent for their productions. With thousands of users from opera houses, orchestras, agencies and as many individual artists, we are the go-to platform and tool for professionals and lovers of performing arts.

Your role

To collect, add, edit, verify and validate a range of information from a large number of different individuals, sources, processes and systems.

Who you are

You are someone who has deep knowledge of Opera, Ballet, Classical, Musical theatre, Drama and other performing Arts.

You enjoy finding, adding, editing and verifying accurate information related to Opera, Ballet, Concerts and other performing art performances and related information.

You would enjoy spending most of your day checking for missing information, searching for new information, adding, editing and verifying information.

You have deep knowledge of, and are passionate about Opera, Ballet, Classical, Musical theatre, Drama. You want to spend your time covering these industries in great detail.

You have worked in performing arts or have an education in musicology or performing arts.

You need to be extremely self disciplined, obsessive about accuracy, and want to spend most of your time working with information related to Opera, Ballet and Classical.

Written and spoken English is a requirement.

Native in any of the following languages

• Italian
• French
• Russian

This is a contract remote role. You will need to send an invoice each month to the company on the agreed compensation amount.
