Our client has an extensive track record spanning over three decades within software analytics. Leveraging a fusion of data and software engineering, they empower enterprises and spearhead digital transformation across a variety of sectors.


They are currently seeking a Lead Software Architect and Technical Engineer to join their team.



The role and responsibilities:


  • You'll work on cloud computing, analytics, and innovative digital business models for their respected clients.
  • In pre-sales situations, you'll evaluate customer needs for feasibility and technical implementation within predetermined frameworks or limits to assist the sales team.
  • You collaborate with clients to create complex system solutions and manage their technical implementation.
  • You'll also lead the development team's technical efforts and participate in execution.



Requirements:

  • A strong computer science, math, physics, or equivalent education or experience.
  • Experienced software system developer.
  • Programming skills in Python,.NET, C#, or Java.
  • Either data modelling, including relational databases, big data, and semantic technologies, or cloud technologies, containerisation, and infrastructure management tools like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Proof of proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
  • Passion for technology and digital transformation, driven to learn more, supported by many chances in our organisation.
  • Strong German and English communication abilities, enabling internal and client collaboration.
  • Sometimes travel flexibility is needed
