Are you ready to take your expertise in clinical contracts and budgeting to the next level? At Fortrea, we are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic professional to join our FSP team as a Site Contract Lead. In this role, you will be at the forefront of clinical trial execution, ensuring that contracts and budgets are aligned with operational goals and regulatory standards.This role offers a hybrid model (50% at client's office in Munich). Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for study teams on all matters related to clinical trial budgets and contracts.Prepare and negotiate site-level grant budgets and Clinical Trial Agreements, including financial appendices and legal terms.Draft, review, and manage contract documents using standard templates, adapting language as needed in collaboration with Legal.Oversee the end-to-end execution of CTAs, Master Agreements, and local purchase contracts, ensuring alignment with trial timelines.Maintain accurate records in Clinical Trial Management Systems and contract management platforms.Identify and escalate business risks appropriately while supporting internal teams with contract-related guidance.Support payment tracking, invoice preparation, and financial reconciliation for investigator sites as needed.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Minimum of 2 years’ experience negotiating legal and/or financial agreements, preferably in clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry.Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical trial start-up processes, and site operational needs.Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills with a strong customer service mindset.Proficiency in English and German (written and verbal), and in using systems such as CTMS, SAP, and contract management toolsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global environment.Why Join Fortrea?: Contribute to advancing innovative therapies and improving patient outcomes through meaningful clinical research on a global scale.Thrive in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning, mentorship, and professional development.Work with modern clinical technologies and streamlined systems that support efficiency, quality, and compliance.Benefit from a flexible work model, competitive benefits, and a strong commitment to employee well-being.We invite qualified candidates who are committed to excellence in clinical research to apply and become part of our mission to advance healthcare worldwide.
