Senior MBSE Consultant


Our client is looking for both Senior and Manager level MBSE Engineers for huge client projects based in the south of Germany. The team meet 1-3 times a month in the Munich office but are mostly remote and have fantastic benefits.


Please note - the interview for this position will be conducted in German and we are looking for B2 plus level minimum.


Role Overview:

As a Senior Consultant in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), you will assist automotive and plant engineering clients in designing digital product development processes and creating dynamic product models. Using your technical expertise and facilitation skills, you will lead modeling workshops, introduce MBSE tools and methods, and integrate these into clients' engineering digitalization strategies. Additionally, you will develop and implement complex models with support from your expert team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead modeling workshops with clients.
  • Introduce and integrate MBSE tools and methods into clients' engineering strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and support complex product models.
  • Collaborate with clients’ development engineers to map necessary components and processes.
  • Provide strategic consulting in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MINT disciplines).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in documenting technical systems or developing system models for Senior Level. 7+ for Manager level and experience managing a team.
  • Skills: Familiarity with product development processes and PDM system models, excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of digitalization of development processes, preferably at the business-IT interface.
