Head of Platform Infrastructure

A hyper-growth SaaS vendor is seeking a world-class Head of Platform Infrastructure to provide disciplinary, technical and strategic leadership to their IT and Cloud Infrastructure team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor system administrators, ensuring high availability of DC and cloud infrastructure
  • Drive innovation in hosting, orchestration, and adoption of new technologies
  • Oversee infrastructure project planning, prioritization, and delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, managing third-party relationships
  • Ensure system maintenance, upgrades, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead cloud migration efforts and maintain disaster recovery plans


Experience Required

  • 10+ years of IT experience in system administration and automation
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Linux system administration
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible, and scripting with Bash and Python
  • Experience running production .NET and Java applications with knowledge of memory management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in troubleshooting complex issues
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
