Für unser Institut für Softwaretechnologie in Köln suchen wir eine/n Informatikerin oder Informatiker (m/w/d), Abschlussarbeit zum Thema Diversitätsfaktoren im Software Engineering

Das erwartet Sie:

In der Gruppe Human Factors in Software Engineering bieten wir die Möglichkeit einer spannenden Abschlussarbeit im Bereich Diversitätsfaktoren im Software Engineering. Ihre Aufgabe besteht in der Durchführung einer systematischen Literaturrecherche und der Unterstützung bei der Planung zukünftiger und Durchführung laufender Studien. Ziel der Arbeit soll die Identifikation bereits untersuchter Diversitätsfaktoren sowie die Planung und ggf. Durchführung einer eigenen Onlinestudie zur Untersuchung der deutschen Software Engineering Community sein. Der Schwerpunkt kann hierbei je nach persönlichem Interesse und Qualifikation stärker auf den theoretischen oder empirischen Teil gelegt werden.

Aufgaben:

  • Durchführung einer systematischen Literaturrecherche zu Diversitätsfaktoren im Software Engineering
  • Auswertung und Zusammenfassung bisheriger wissenschaftlicher Untersuchungen und ihrer Ergebnisse
  • Unterstützung bei der Proband/innen-Rekrutierung und Vorbereitung von Studien
  • Unterstützung bei der Erhebung und Analyse eigener Datensätze sowie der Dokumentation und Präsentation der Ergebnisse
Das erwarten wir von Ihnen:
  • Immatrikulation in einem relevanten Studiengang (z.B. Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Informatik o.Ä. mit grundlegenden Kenntnissen sowohl in der Softwareentwicklung als auch in Sozialpsychologie/Soziologie)
  • Erfahrung in der Durchführung systematischer Literaturrecherchen (z.B. PRISMA-Methode)
  • Erfahrung in der Durchführung empirischer Studien
  • grundlegende Kenntnisse in multivariater Statistik oder gute Kenntnisse in qualitativer Datenanalyse
  • Programmiererfahrung in Python oder R
  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
